For George Baker this year is already amazing. This wednesday the singer and song writer was told that his hit single 'Una Paloma Blanca' was used for the movie 'The Kite Runner'.
The movie is based on bestseller 'The kite runner' by Khaled Hosseini. The movie is tipped for Oscars by experts and will be in cinemas next thursday.
It's not the first time one of Baker's songs shows up in an international movie. Una Paloma Blanca earlier appeared on the soundtrack of Lawrence Schiller's "The Executioner's Song", and the evergreen Little Green Bag was used in "Reservoir Dogs", which was directed by Quentin Tarantino.
